Sale prices are not available to cycle to work applicants and these orders will be charged at the original price. This is due to a 10% fee taken by cycle to work scheme voucher/certificate providers.
Please note that the estimated delivery time is roughly 2 weeks.
The Engwe P20 retains the traditional bicycle shape with a rear motor concealed within the rear wheel and the battery concealed behind the seat-post. Its ultra-lightweight frame lends itself 18.5kg. The removable 9.6Ah battery allows for ease of charging and up to 100km range in assist mode.
This bike is available on the cycle to work scheme and you can apply using this link. Simply complete the form, and in 5 minutes, our website will automatically generate a quote and email it to you. You just need to take this cycle to work scheme form to your employer to process, and then come get your new Engwe P20 electric bike once payment has been made.
Battery
A removable 9.6Ah lithium ion battery allows you to reach a range of up to 80Km+ on a single charge. This will depend on factors like rider size, speed, terrain and weather conditions. The battery is removable so you can take the battery out to charge it or you can charge it in the bike.
Tyres
Large 20 inch non-slip, wear-resistant pneumatic tyres are highly suitable for use on uneven surfaces. 1.75 inch wide tyres ensure maximum grip, especially in wet conditions.
Torque Sensor
The Engwe P20 electric bike comes with the upgraded torque sensor. The more basic cadence sensor uses a magnetic switch in the crank to turn the motor on or off whereas the torque sensor is a much higher tech device. It uses a high precision gauge to measure the actual force through the pedal, sampling 1,000 times per second, measuring how hard the rider is pedalling, to determine how much power to distribute through the motor. This results in a much smoother take off, more enjoyable ride and also a more efficient use of power.
Brakes
Unlike the Fiido M1 with questionable mechanical brakes (which we recommend upgrading to XTECH semi-hydraulic brakes), the Engwe X26 comes with hydraulic brakes as standard. The difference between mechanical and hydraulic brakes on a bike this size and speed is like night and day. Braking on the Engwe Engine Pro is a dream, silky-smooth with a minimised stopping distance.
