Battery

A removable 13Ah lithium ion battery allows you to reach a range of up to 60Km+ on a single charge. This will depend on factors like rider size, speed, terrain and weather conditions. The battery is removable so you can take the battery out to charge it or you can charge it in the bike. It means that you can also purchase a second battery if you would like to have 2, doubling your maximum range.

Tyres

The 20 x 4 inch all terrain tyres really stand out out on the Engwe EP-2 Pro. They provide maximum surface area contact with the road for better grip, and their size ensures that you feel as little of the road as possible, making this bike a very smooth ride on all surfaces.

Brakes

Unlike the higher spec Engwe Engine Pro electric bike which has excellent hydraulic brakes, the Engwe EP-2 pro has Tektro mechanical brakes. Our expert opinion on mechanical brakes for a bike this large is that they are questionable and may require adjustment very frequently. That’s why LOCO Scooters offer an upgraded brake pack, replacing the stock brakes with XTECH semi hydraulic brake callipers. These deliver a much better braking action on your new Engwe EP-2 Pro electric bike and we recommend getting these installed.

Warranty

LOCO Scooters have an in-house electric scooter and e-bike repair centre in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. We are an approved after-sales centre for Engwe, Fiido, Dualtron, VSETT, Kugoo among other brands of electric bikes and e-scooters. The warranty on your new Engwe e-bike is 1 year and is with LOCO Scooters and nobody else.
